AUTOMATIC REPRODUCER for EDISON - Glass Diaphragm

AUTOMATIC REPRODUCER FOR EDISON PHONOGRAPHS - Glass diaphragm, new gaskets!
If you're looking for a really nice playing example of the Automatic for your Brown Wax cylinders, you have found it. I found this fitted to a circa 1909 Standard Model C machine(!). To make it fit, somebody filed a notch in the top. However, it still displays well. (The upper reproducer clip covers the notch when it is in place.) Actually, I found the notch to be useful in that I could use it on many of my newer Edison cylinder players - A nice feature if you have Brown wax but have later machines. It has the slightly heavier weight that was used about 1899-1902 and would be most appropriate for a machine of that vintage. It has new gaskets and a new glass diaphragm. You don't see these too often, and this one plays well. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. (If you're into cameras as well, check out my auction for my Leica M6.)
