BEATIFUL ANTIQUE OIL LAMP w/MILLER HINGED BURNER & LIPPED CHIMNEY - GREAT FONT!
- Source: eBay
Hi and welcome,This auction is for this classy and very attractive oil burning stand lamp. The font is pictured in the "1883-1884 Bradley & Hubbard Illustrated Catalog of Kerosene Fixtures" on page 143 and the hand painted design on the glass stem is pictured on page 145 of the same book. The font body is frosted with the top, bottom and pressed pattern of many images, clear. It stands just over 11" to the collar and 21" overall with the chimney in place. There were no flaws discovered although, at the bottom of the stem, there is a tiny color streak in the glass that looks like a small crack but further inspection found it only to be misleading because it doesn't go through to the other side. This is a very clean lamp ready for your pleasure. NOTE: You will be seeing a lot of things that we will be putting ... read more
