Miss Daniels displays no little ability is the energetic girl with $l,000,000. This actress really ought to be cast in a vehicle that would serve her better that such a rambunctious picture. Ford Sterling does very well with the part of Ned Brewster, and Warner Baxter is sympathetic as the flabbergasted young legal light. André de Beranger is amusing as one of the comic characters.

In most films, Daniels played a wild, carefree but essentially nice girl; a variation of the flappers played by Clara Bow and Colleen Moore at the same time. With the coming of sound, Paramount let her go, and was much chagrined when she made a hit musical ("Rio Rita") for RKO in 1929. She developed into one of the most charming actresses of the early 1930s, adept in comedy, drama and musicals. She freelanced from studio to studio, appearing in a total of 15 talkies between 1929 and 1935.
