This auction is for a lovely, vintage table and 6 chairs made by Berkey & Gay. We are selling a sideboard originally with this set under a seperate auction at this time. The stlye is Queen Anne and is Maple. The chairs are solid with some finish deterioration on the hand hold areas of the chairs. The table is 45 1/2" long, without the leaves out and the drop leaves down. With the drop leaves up it is 72" long and also has 2, 12" leaves that can be added. It is 30 1/4" tall and 38" wide. T are 5 side chairs and 1 armed host chair. The host chair is both wider and at 42" tall it is 3" taller than the side chairs. The apron frill is carried out on the sides as well as the fronts. The front stretcher bar is an ornate turned style. The seat are presentable in a multi colored dimensional tapestry. The finish is original and acceptable, the top has some finish loss but no gouges or deep scratches. This dining set will sell with no reserve! We prefer money orders.
