This Cornet is a really famous one manufactured by F.BESSON Paris

Its rotary valve let to switch different tones really quickly.

Its patent was registered in 1882 & 1887.

This Cornet is rare as originally built in C with the possibility

to play in Bb, B and A when acting the rotary valves.

The first rotary valve corresponding to one tone

and the second one corresponding to half-tone.

F.BESSON were considering that the use of the rotary valve system

on a C cornet was letting to play

as well a Cornet solo part than a trumpet part.
