This is a great group of teeth for anyone fascinated by sharks. There are a few different species here. These teeth come from Florida and South Carolina. There are partial beach tumbled as well as whole teeth and to top it off there are six partial Extinct Giant Mako Shark teeth in this group. Many experts believe the modern day Great White Shark is a direct ancestor of the Extinct Giant Mako Shark. This shark lived during the Miocene and Pliocene period along with the massive Megalodon Shark. The largest tooth in this group measures 2 1/4" on the slant (longest side). There are over 200 of the smaller teeth in this group. The quarter in the photo is for size reference on the smaller teeth. This is a great item for anyone interested in fossils or as the ultimate gravel for any fish bowl!Good luck with the auction!2
