The greatest and most expensive gathering of artists ever congregated - 60 People. (So claims the Souvenir Program / Song Book). Genuine 1918 souvenir program - song book. Featuring samples of songs, articles, list of productions playing the Empire Circuit Theatres, Song Lyrics, Full Cast List of THE BIG REVIEW and some black & white photos of some of the cast. List of "Notable" Stars: Maurice Wood as Vesta Victoria (and as Eva Tanquay), Alfred Varsha as Caruso, Clem Bevins as Raymond Hitchcock, Anna Chandler as Fay Templeton (and as Anna Held), Geo S. Betts as Harry Lauder and Frankie Heath. The Big Review was a show of impersonations - a cast of actors impersonating the top stars of the day. Souvenir Program is in good condition, especially considering it's age. Red cover, inside pages are kind of like newsprint quality pages. Turning yellow (well light brown really) with age. Great edges, are few very small tears. Just as a side note - there is an article in the program called ONCE UPON A TIME by Lee Harrison. It lists people famous in the theatrical world of 1918 and tells you a single line about their past. While I don't recognize a lot of the names - I'm sure they were well known in their day. (The
