You're getting this fresh estate find from a long-time toy collector: a BING Germany Mechanical Train set with the original box. The lid of the box is missing 2 side flaps, but the base is still holding together, with the compartments intact, and it measures 14" square. The locomotive is key-windup (key is included). The gears and sprockets all operate as they should, but the spring inside doesn't operate the wheels. The 1012 coal tender measures 4" long, and still has most of the original paint, with no cracks or breaks. The wheels and hooks are in good condition. The New York Central Lines #501 Express Service Baggage/U.S. Mail car, has a working sliding door on each side. The tin litho is still in very nice condition. It measures 5.5" long, and has good working wheels and hooks. The Bing logo is clear underneath, as well as on each end of the car. The #3 passenger car also has nice tin litho, with a few surface scratches, but this one has different style hooks on the ends, so I think this is a replacement
