An approximately 100 page book consisting of 125 halftone photographs and other illustrations captioned by pioneering industrial designer Raymond Loewy to illuminate his conception of locomotive streamlining . Along with Norman Bel Geddes' "Horizons," this is one of the seminal documents of the streamline movement of the 1930s .

Condition: book FINE/VERY GOOD + jacket. Flaws: jacket has light rubbing and light edge/corner wear with some creasing especially toward bottom of back cover and at top and bottom of spine edges; t is a light bump to top of spine and very light shelfwear to bottom of book - else very, very clean and crisp. This beautiful collectible book is very tight and clean - an extremely nice piece of railroad and industrial design history.
