Boothbay Schooner Real Photo Atlantic Coast Co 4 masted
- Source: eBay
Excellent , unused Real Photo post card depicting a four masted schooner under construction in the shipyard by The Atlantic Coast Company in Boothbay Harbor at what later became known as Sample's Shipyard (known today as Boothbay Harbor Shipyard). This is one of the four-masted schooners that were built by The Atlantic Coast Company between 1918 and 1920. I do not know specifically which ship this is, but t he March 1999 issue of Nautical Research Journal features an article with pictures titled "The Four-Masted Schooners of Boothbay Harbor" by James W. Hunt which details these particular WWI era vessels, and could likely help you identify it more precisely. It is likely one of the following 4-masted ships:the Francis L. Taussig, the Bradford E. Jones, the Mary B. Pierce, the James W. Howard, the Josiah B. Chase Matte finish. Very Nice condition free of any folds, creases, tears. Pay with Money Orders, Bank Checks, or Personal Checks. Some other payment methods might also be available to experienced eBay buyers. All items are promptly shipped, but personal checks are held to clear before shipping for those with low or negative feedback. I do not accept credit cards, and I only ship to US buyers and destinations. Ask any questions you have before bidding!
