A Boxed Royal Crown Derby Plate Indian Prince Peony A Boxed Royal Crown Derby Cabinet Plate Indian Prince Peony A Boxed Limited edition Royal Crown derby Cabinet plate, decorated with a large Botanical view of a Peony. The plate is from a series of four plates reproduced from archive watercolours originally designed in the 1930’s as a desert service for an Indian prince. The plate has a shaped rim with gilt and cobalt blue boarder with acorns and leaves in the design. All the centre of the plate is taken up with the botanical study of the Peony all done over an ivory ground. It is fully marked to the base with Royal Crown Derby Stamp and information about the series. This plate is a limited edition of 1500 and numbered 331. It comes in its original box and with all its certificates. Size Width 8.5” Condition The condition is perfect.
