Boyden Carpenter (Feb 26 1909-1995) was born in Sparta and raised around Cherry Lane (Alleghany County), North Carolina. He had his greatest musical success in the mid 1930s, when he spent 2 years working on WPTF radio in Raleigh, NC for Crazy Water Crystals. He toured with Mainer's Mountaineers and the Monroe Brothers and worked with Ernest Thompson. He also played a show called "The Crazy Water Barn Dance" in Charlotte, North Carolina.

12 page vintage booklet. Good used condition. There is pencil writing on the first page (see photo) and a few songs have check marks written next to them. Staple binding in good condition. Appears to have no tears. Very rare and vintage booklet from the 1930s. Great bluegrass memoribilia from North Carolina!
