Brass MICROSCOPE possibly Ernst LEITZ c. 1890's

Vintage Brass Compound Monocular Microscope. Germany. Circa late 1800's .

No makers name discernible anyw on the microscope, but looks similar to a Zeiss or Leitz ? The horseshoe base is 5 1/2" by 4" and supports the 3 1/2" high tubular pillar of this all brass instrument. Brass tubular microscope with a knob that controls the focus. The lens barrel length is 6". The 3 microscope lenses are a 1.8 mm Spencer, a #7 Leitz, a #3 Leitz. The instrument is entirely brass with a cast iron black japanned base. The lacquer coverage is 90%. The mirror is two-sided, plane and concave. Has number 3 eyepiece. Very nice condition. Nice addition to any microscope collection.
