Bright Blue Azurite Ball with Minor Green Malachite from Tsumeb A bright blue ball of Azurite rests on a dark brown matrix. The Azurite consists of smaller crystals forming a ball shape. The azurite is glassy and reflects the light. In association, are small blebs of velvety green Malachite on the matrix. Size is 2" x 1.25" x 1.75". Condition: Good with minor edge wear. Contact point on the es with a clear 1" high Plexiglas display base with label. Ships with specimen detached from base. To reattach, use soft glue gun. Key Point: Colorful and classic. Origin: Tsumeb Mine (Tsumcorp Mine), Tsumeb, Otjikoto Region (Oshikoto), Namibia. For any collector of Tsumeb minerals, this is a colorful and classic specimen.
