Vintage retro Simtex tablecloth, up for auction! It is "as found"; I've made no attempt to clean it. Please look closely at my photos & use the enlarge feature as I believe them to be the most important part of my description. Also, use the "control" or "ctrl" button on your keyboard and scroll up or down with the mouse to enlarge further. I believe this kitchy, retro tablecloth/napkin set is made of a medium weight cotton which is a creamy white. Colors are lime green, shades of pink, and red. Short side hems are machine stitched; long sides are selvage. The tablecloth measures 51" X 65". The great Simtex label is still sewn in. It proudly states "Made right in America". Colors are bright and unfaded. Print includes morning glories, pink roses, and carnations. A rose printed ribbon winds it's way through the small flower bouquets. Regarding condition: There is faint overall age-related patina due to improper storage. There is a storage scent from being tucked away in a chest or drawer. There are a few marks which I've pictured in my photos. I believe all would be removed with a gentle soak and wash. Great set to use "as is" or to mix with other linens!
