In 1981, Raiders of the Lost Ark, arguably the greatest adventure movie of all time, wowed audiences with the exploits of a quirky, womanizing archaeology professor wearing a fedora, leather jacket, and most importantly, a genuine British WW2 Mk VII shoulder pack. The Mk VII pack immediately became known as the "Indiana Jones" bag. This British Army WW2 Mk VII INDIANA JONES BAG Shoulder Pack is in very good condition, with the male portions of the front closure snaps starting to pull away from the material, and with some light scattered age wear evident (ALL pictured). Otherwise, the pack is in fine shape, with absolutely no rips, holes, tears, or other damage to the tough khaki cotton canvas construction. It's broad arrow marked and stamped to "M & CO." inside, along with "VII", and the date, "1942". It features a weak but functional dual brass snap front flap closure, and sports the classic metal side disk and dual brass screen ventilated bottom, two distinctive features of the Mk VII pack. It's complete with a replacement US Vietnam era OD cotton shoulder strap, and is a fine example of a rare, original British Army WW2 Mk VII INDIANA JONES BAG Shoulder Pack.
