Leather case 2 1/2" long. Lancets closed 2 1/4", with blade open 3 5/8". Each blade is marked "Evans Old Change London" First mention of him I can find at the Old Change address is 1783. By 1803 it was David Evans & Co. I assume these to be late 18th century blood letters. The handles are tortoise shell in appearance.. The leather carrying case has a little wear to the outside & the interior purple paper has wear. A nice early pair of lancets in good condition. Sorry the photo of the mark doees not show better.
