Pair of c.1955 Fortuny panels in pink. They are an old pattern, I am drawing a blank on it but I'm sure someone will remind me. It's like Peruvian Orsissi or somethinglike that. These panels (T are TWO with matching white trim) Each measure 53"Wide @ the bottom X 91"Long X 32"Wide at the pleated top. They have no holes or stains. They are double lined with flannel in the middle then fine linen on the backing. I did not wash these. I'll leave that up to the lucky buyer who buys them. I bought these from the original designer who did the room that they hung in Newport, RI. They were commissioned by his lifelong client in 1955 and she wants just some of her money back. We're selling for her as a favor and this is the fair price she wanted. It's cheap to me, as you know if you want to get new Fortuny you are paying $350-$500 a yard and t are many yards of fabric in good condition with some good age to it. I always see these tiny scraps on Ebay and this is not a listing for tiny scraps but two gigantic panels, again each measuring 53" X 91"Long X 32"Wide @ the pleated top. One lining is loose on the right handside for a few inches nothing serious. The fabric is all impeccable, with only some minor sunfading on one selvage as shown. If you had these made today your youngester would have to not get braces this month or take a semester off read more
