ESTIMATES and RESERVES: We've decided to include estimates for the benefit of those bidders less acquainted with current prices for quality antiques and works of art. Our estimates are based upon prices acheived at major auction houses for identical examples, or those by the same artist and similar in subject, medium, style, size, condition

EBAY SECOND CHANCE OFFERS: Since scam artists send emails attempting to fraudulently sell fictitious objects offered by legitimate sellers to unsuspecting bidders, we DO NOT SEND "SECOND CHANCE OFFER" emails. If you receive a second chance offer on any of the objects we list, do not click on any links in the email. Instead, go to directly to double check with the seller that an offer to sell is from the original seller and not an agent working "on behalf of a seller". Be sure to wait to hear from the seller before clicking on any links or sending payment!

We guarantee the authenticity and description of everything we offer. We deal only in good examples of authentic art and antiques so that you may have confidence in bidding on our auctions. Each of the antiques that we handle is a hand made product, and differs to some degree from every other. Innt in these objects are aspects of usage and age which add some of the charm one expects to find in most antique objects. In order to distinguish actual condition problems, which we do list, from the insignificant or naturally occurring, and typical characteristics resulting from the manufacturing processes unique to each of the variety of items we offer, ie fine crazing of a soft paste object, we generally do not list such minor manufacturing inconsistencies and insignificant blemishes. If you are seeking a perfectly manufactured object you are in the wrong place. We do not sell reproductions of any sort. Please email us if you have any questions regarding condition, extra images, provenance, etc. If our description bears error we ask that our return policy be read below.
