Rare D.C.Hall/Lecomte Cornet

Rare Lecomte Paris "Stencil" cornet made to be sold in the D.C. Hall shop in Boston likely between 1876-1880 following the dissolution of the Hall & Quinby partnership and shortly before D.C Hall's retirement the instrument making/selling business. This instrument was sold in the Hall shop to provide a lower cost alternative to their more expensive in house made cornets and trumpets. The cornet is in non functioning condition, with all slides, caps, valves frozen and evident dent removal and soldering work needed. No major parts are missing from the body of the instrument. The "A" Shank of the instrument is retained. A neat little piece of history that can be restored fairly easily. Please message with any questions!
