c1880 V Rare Webb? Alexandrite? Amberina with Blue Base Blown Art Glass Vase

circa 1880-1900 Very Rare Alexandrite or Amberina with Blue Blown Art Glass Vase Well Above Outstanding. This piece just speaks for itself and I have never come across anything like it before. Killer colors that appear to be an Alexandrite type glass with the top rim being a very deep cranberry color fading into amber than blue at the edge of the foot. Outstanding example of what a heat sensitive formula and a great glass blower can create. This vase has a ribbed body with very faint blue vertical lines that stop just short of the base. Item is shown on a black background to show how the blue looks more red or cranberry color depending on the angle and lightGlass is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or other damages. I did note some lite surface scratches and what appears to be water stains or cloudiness to the inside of the piece so it has been used at some point in the past. I have not tried to remove or clean any of the inside Open pontil scar on the bottom Unknown maker.
