c1880 WEBB Ruby Red FINGER BOWL w/Underplate Machine THREADED

Offered for sale is this gorgeous English art glass finger bowl with the underplate. I believe it was made by Thomas Webb at the end of the nineteenth century but could be another fine Stourbridge factory. The color is deep ruby red with machine threaded decoration. The star-shaped crimped rims are especially nice. The bowl measures 2 1/2" high and 5 1/2" across. The plate is 6 1/4" across. The bottoms have ground and polished pontils. There are no markings. This set is in excellent estate condition with no damage, wear or restoration found. It is sure to be a very special addition to a collection! The cost of U.S. insured shipping and very careful packing varies with your postal zone--see estimate above. If this amount is high (often the case) I'll immediately refund your account.
