Offered in this sale is an antique ruby stained early American pressed pattern glass decanter that dates to the 1890s. You can find an example of this piece illustrated in Ruby Stained Glass From A - Z" by Heacock on page 172 where he is calling the pattern PENTAGON. It measures roughly 10" tall x 4" in diameter at its widest. The condition is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or evidence of grinding. In addition, there is no interior staining. I will call your attention to the fact that the inside edge of the neck where the base of the stopper rests is not factory ground. This is not a flaw.
