c1920's NOVELTY METAL & TREEN WOOD PISTOL GUN SHAPE INKWELL PENCIL DIP PEN

An early 1900's novelty desktop item in the form of a Pistol.

It is a combination of Propelling pencil, Dip pen & Inkwell.

When you pull the trigger - the pencil shoots out ready for use.

There is a "Bullet" in the chamber which holds the Ink.

The pen comes out of the turned wood handle. It extends & needs a nib (missing) to push in to the end.

All in working order.

The tip of the pencil has a small piece of metal grip missing - the lead stays in OK.

There is some light surface wear - no other obvious damage.

Measures approx. 6&1/2" (16.5cm) long.
