4 Cabinet Photos * 106th PA Inf CIVIL WAR VETERAN w/ GAR BADGES Same Soldier This auction is for a group of four (4) antique cabinet photos that all show the same Civil War Veteran wearing his GAR badges. The veteran is not identified by name but he and his comrades were members of the 106th PA Infantry, The Philadelphia Brigade which fought at Gettysburg and other important battles. The photos all came from the same estate and I feel it is important to keep them together. Please look at all the scans closely for details. The images include: 3 Veterans wearing GAR badges and Kepis with the 106th wreath insignia, 4th man in photo may be a son 2 Veterans wearing GAR badges and & 2 seated Women wearing ribbons Civil War Veteran wearing 4 badges, 2 ½” x 3 5/8” oval photo on 4 2/4” x 6” mat board 6 Men including the same Civil War Veteran wearing his GAR badge, photo is 3 7/8” x 5 7/8” The photos probably date to the 1885-1895 period and the condition of each is VF to Excellent with very light wear. Unless noted otherwise, the photos have approximate dimensions 3 7/8” x 5 3/8” and the mat boards are approx 4 ¼” x 6 ½”. See my other auctions. Offered with NO RESERVE.
