Welcome to my auction for a RARE, Handsigned, accurately detailed, full color print of: Marine Sniper, Gunnery Sargeant, Carlos N. Hathcock II, depicted by Max Grace, entitled: White Feather. Because this is a No Reserve Auction - The High Bidder Wins at the End! I had the honor and privalege of knowing Gunny Hathcock for a short while. He passed from this earth on February 23, 1999. He was a quiet, modest man, and one of the greatest Americans I have ever met! I'm sure if you are looking at this, you know his story. In case you don't; Carlos was a Marine Sniper in the Vietnam War. He had 93 confirmed kills, and perhaps up to 300 unconfirmed. The story I like to tell is about the lives he saved, not only by eliminating enemy threats, but about the other heroic feats that he performed, such as rescuing a group of Marines from a burning "troop carrier", and in the process was horribly burned himself. These stories and others, are documented in the book; Marine Sniper. I met Gunny Hathcock on several occassions, being introduced by a mutual friend who served with Gunny in the Marine Corps, in Vietnam, and remained his friend until the end. I have signed books, posters, photos, and business cards, that Gunny signed for me over the years. This particular print was purchased and signed in 1991, in Norfolk, Virginia. Carlos signed it right
