Exceptional postcard showing the Glen Echo Park Maryland carousel merry-go-round built by Dentzel in 1921. The carousel is 3 rows, containing 28 jumpers and 12 standing horses, and 12 menagerie animals. It is on the National Register of Historic Places. Real photo, unused AZO 2 triangles point up and 2 point down in corners of stampbox, est. 1921. Condition is excellent, super sharp focus. Glen Echo is located in Montgomery County, across the river from McLean Virginia, about 5 miles southeast of Patomic, and 5 miles west of Bethesda.
