W.R. Case & Sons issued the Centennial Collection Mint Set in 1989 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Case's existence in the world of cutlery.

There were a total of 100 knives in the set with the knives being produced with either Genuine Stag (deer stag), Redbone (cattle bone), or Goldflake scales. We've shown the entire Case Centennial Mint Set this knife came out of, the auction is for the R61405L Lockblade only.

There were a total of only 500 sets produced and each knife for auction out of this series also features the Case Long Tail C serialization. This knife for auction is serial numbered with the official Case Long Tail C and serial #272.
