CASE XX 1971 Red Bone Muskrat Beauty Near Mint 9 Dot

Up for auction is a beautiful 1971 Case XX Muskrat. This knife uses the same frame as the 47 pattern and is 3 7/8" long. This knife is new and unsharpened, but two spider webs make it near mint. I am opening at $.99 with no reserve after that. The photos show the actual 9 dot knife you will receive.

Handles: The handles are beautiful deep red bone with high lights. T are no handle cracks or flaws. The handles match well in color. The handles have the semi-translucent bone you feel you can see down into.

Blades: The blades are chrome vanadium steel with a concave grind. The blades both pop when opening and closing. Both blades have the original factory sharpening grind.

Liners: T are two nickel silver liners and three nickel silver handle pins.

Shield: The shield is the "Open C" Case shield.

Condition: This knife is mint except for two tiny spider webs on the front of the first clip blade. You can see these in the photo of the blade, and in the 9 dot tang photo. T are small opening rubs on the back of both blades. T are very light handling rubs on the backspring, and a tiny ding on the left rear bolster. Overall, this knife is an exceptional piece with fantastic bone.
