I am a collector (mostly Case) selling my collection because of advancing age. This auction is for a 1989 Case XX 5220 SS Centennial Peanut. This knife is 2 7/8" long. I am opening at $.99 with no reserve after that. The photos show the actual mint knife you will receive. Please note that I am also selling a 1989 stag non-centennial peanut in a second listing. At one time I was going to try to get all the 1989 centennial knives, and didn't even get close. But is a very nice one that I did succeed in getting. It has been in a knife pak since 1990 when I bought it. Handles: The handles are nicely figured and colored stag. T are no cracks or chips that I can see. Blades: The blades are regular pull polished stainless steel with a concave grind and polished edge. Both blades are blemish free. The blades pop when opening and closing, and the half stop is strong. The blade etch is very clear and crisp. The tang has the centennial 1889 1989 tang stamp. The factory grind marks are still in place indicating that the knife has never been re-sharpened. T are light opening rubs on the clip blade. Liners: T are three brass liners and three brass handle pins. Backsprings: Both backsprings are clean. Bolsters: T are no scratches or dings on the bolsters Condition: This beauty is mint and a goody. It has the long tailed C tested Centennial
