Up for auction is a cathedral type peppersauce bottle with a large tubular open pontil . Bottle is 8 1/2 inches tall. A nice dark greenish aqua color. These are great 1860 bottles with superb designs. What sets this apart from others is the unusual lip finish. This has a squared flanged collar, when they are almost always a double ring type lip finish. I can not remember seeing another with this lip finish. Some crude indentions in top of lip visible, just manufacturing that you can see in picture. There is a tiny, tiny 1/32 skin flat type flake on edge of lip. It is nearly impossible to see with naked eye. Some light interior content spotty stain. Overall a great example and one to add if you like odd variants. Thanks for looking. Cost of shipping includes full insurance.
