Illustated by Daniel Vierge, the translation is that of John Ormsby, and t are 580 pages in volume one, and 630 pages in volume one. This set is in near fine condition, with a light spot of rubbing at the top of the spine of volume one, but no fading, puncturess, or bumped corners are present to the covers and spines. The bindings are solid and never read, the silk end pages have no fading, and the pages are very fine, with no markings or remains from a previous owner, and no flaws from handling or age. The silk ribbon markers are fine and tight, and no unpleasant odors need to be noted, but instead a bright and crisp leather scent. The gilded page edges have some light wear, althoug none of this shows up on the inside, and no major damage is present.
