You are bidding on a signed and numbered print by well known artist Charley Harper. This print does have some foxxing in the border of the print on the front(see photos) and also some spots where it looks like it may have gotten wet although the print is not wavy. The back of the print has some foxxing and spots but the image itself looks very clean with no cracks or other damage. Most of the obvious flaws in this print could be covered with matting when framing. Charley was born in West Virginia in 1922. He graduated from, and then taught art at, the Art Academy of Cincinnati where he met wife, Edie, also an artist. His commissions included illustrations for Ford Times , The Golden Book of Biology , Betty Crocker’s Dinner for Two , National Park Service, Cincinnati Zoo, Cincinnati Nature Center, Hamilton County Park District, and the Michigan Audubon Society, among many others.
