Offering this old edition of Charles Dickens The Posthumous of The Pickwick Club in nice victorian designed book.Published by Milner and Co, Paternoster Row, London, no date which was typical of English books in that time, this book dates somewhere around 1870-1890's. Dark red cloth hardboards with wonderful pictures and lettering in gold and black. Good+ condition, no spine cracks or stains, very slight age darkening, and a couple teeny splits at spine edges. Pages are clean and tight, very slight age darkening, no foxing except on front illustration margin which was caused from the tissue paper covering. No scribbles. Front and back inside boards have been mended at spine edge with archival tape, both are secure. The small amount of wear this book has only adds character and a story of its own. A lovely 120+ year old book for your Dickens collection!
