Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island '12 Wagon RPPC Search This is a circa 1912 (Velox #15 Canadian stampbox), divided back, real photo postcard of the T.W. Christie Company's Delivery Wagon with a Cream Separator on board near Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, Canada. A great image of the two salesmen in front of the store that advertises organs, sewing machines, cream separators as well as scales and balances. The 1911 American-Canadian reciprocity agreement was signed that allowed cream separators to be imported from America and England for the first time. Prince Edward Island was among the initial provinces to embrace the dairy industry for Canada . Note ~ this card is cut at an odd angle up top but t are no signs it was done intentionally. The postcard was not sent and is new and it is in excellent condition (8.5) and rates as locally known (3) in its collectible interest. A.
