Up for your consideration is a Chelsea "Wythe House Clock. The clock is clean - no scratches, dents, or dings in the wood, dial, or brass. It comes with the original key. The face of the clock is white and says "CHELSEA" below the winding arbor. The dial is about 3 1/2" across the time track. Someone has etched the serial number of the movement in the brass cover that protects the movement. It is serial number 722737, dating the clock to the late '60's . The time only movement is housed in an attractive hand rubbed mahogany case that's about 10 1/2" tall (to top of handle), 7" wide, and 1 1/2" deep . T are nice inlays on the case and solid brass hardware. On the inside of the back door, t is a wood-burned imprint identifying this as an official Williamsburg reproduction. Chelsea made these clocks as part of the Williamsburg Restoration Series, beginning in 1956. The original paper label is positioned on the inside of the case just below the movement. The clock runs well; it may need fast/slow adjustment, but it ran for over a week. This clock comes from the estate of an avid clock collector who specialized in ships clocks. I am not a clock expert and have attempted to represent this item to the best of my ability. If you have any questions, please ask using eBay messaging.
