Children of the Feud (Triangle, 1916)

Children of the Feud (Triangle, 1916). One Sheet (28" X 41").
Dorothy Gish breaks from her normal series of comedic roles in this silent Appalachian drama about jealousy, vengeance, and love. Although her popularity was overshadowed by that of her sister, Lillian Gish, she made over 100 two-reel films and features, and eventually relocated to England to enjoy a long and successful stage career. A first for Heritage, this beautiful stone litho poster is a great find for silent film fans. This poster has undergone restoration for several tears and chips throughout the image background and borders, small chips in Dorothy Gish's image, touchup to three of the letters in "Feud," and has had its borders and blue background airbrushed. Despite these issues, the interior image of Gish is mostly intact and the poster displays beautifully. Fine on Linen. Grade: 60, Service No.: 1435521
