China: Kiang Nan Province, 7 Mace And 2 Candareens

Some forty years ago, I was actively collecting World Coins and, naturally, doing a bit of dealing. I lost interest after a burglary and the publication of "The Phone Book" which made information too available.

Recently, I re-discovered a couple of boxes of coins left from those days and will attempt to sell them on ebay. .

On most of the coins that I am listing I have the date marked on the holder. Not this one, though. It appears to have the same date marks as the Hu-Peh coin listed earlier (1896) but I don't do well with Chinese characters without a book before me.

The dragon on this coin is much better than the Hu Peh dragon but the rest of the strike is pretty weak. This coin aslo looks as if it has been cleaned, but not recently.

To the best of my knowledge, all coins that I will be listing are genuine and will be described accurately. All of the coins have been in my possesion since at least 1975.

Winning bidder must pay $3.00 S/H within the USA, slightly more elsewhere. Texas residents also must add 8.25% sales tax.

Please visit my other NO RESERVE auctions on ebay. Thanks.
