I picked this up years ago and never really knew what it was for, then one day last year when we were going through the storage someone told me that the Chinese doctors would use this doll in order to help examine women because they were not allowed to touch the female patients his doll measures 6" and has the original string with bead they used to hold it around there wrist this is made of a heavy bisque type pottery. It's interesting that the feet are deformed I who's also told that the reason for that was because of the binding the would do to the women's feet, that would or could represent that?
