Chinese Famille Verte Porcelain Ginger Jar Kangxi - Court Ladies & BoysA Kangxi period (1662-1722) famille verte ginger jar, of globular/ovoid form, painted and enameled with courtly ladies and boys at play in a garden pavilion. The upper rim and foot left unglazed, revealing an extremely fine & smooth paste. The glazed base inside the foot with "pig-bristle" glaze bubbles, typical of Kangxi wares. The jar is approximately 6 ¾" inches (17 cm) high.Condition - Minor small chips to the inside upper rim. Discolored scratches to the glaze and wear to the enamels. Flaking to enamels, most notable on the aubergine ladies coat (see photos). Small circular fracture to the center of the glazed base, does not go through to the interior. Small amount of discolored crazing on interior which does not go through to the exterior of the jar.Shipping - Please use the Ebay shipping calculator for shipping cost.
