This is a copy of the treaty of Tien-Tsin signed in 1856. It was brought back from China by O. B. Bradford who was appointed as special envoy to China by President Linclon in the early 1860s. This booklet is about 20 pages and measures 5 1/4 x 9 1/4. The pages are held together by stitches. There is water damage to the cover and back but the interior pages are in good condition. There is also writing on the cover as if done by a child. Inside the back cover is written "Chang Kow Yuen Ling Kim" which I believe is someones name.
