Before Bidding pleasecarefully read the shipping and insurance details after the description of thisitem. Thank you! :-) This is another saw that belonged to my grandfather, handed down to my father in his early 20's (Dad died 2 years ago at 86), it is one of two I will be listing. My grandfather died in 1960, so it is pretty old and was used by both of them. The teeth are still very, very sharp, 5 1/2 tpi rip which is noted at the handle. The handle has a hole for your finger. The handle shows some wear and the screws are tight on the back.... The saw is very dark so I could not photograph the etching on it. I can see Philadelphia if I look close. It has it's original blade, I believe, 2" at tip and 6 3/4" at butt. Not sure it has been sharpened. The medallion reads Disston USA. I believe the handle is apple-wood, it is darker than the other saw I have listed, with the finger hole instead of the "let in" handle, four bolts ? on the front, and Five screws on the backside. I cannot make out any logo on the front. It needs to be polished because it has been in my father's garage for 60 years. Not sure when it was made but those experts out there looking I am sure can determine it. Please let me know if you do know by asking a question to the seller, thanks! Please don't bid you if don't intend to pay! Thank U. Payment must be received
