Interesting collection of various items of WW1 period ephemera. 14 items in total, comprising: (a) letter in envelope dated Aug 1916 to the bandmaster of the Kilburn Volunteer Reserve regarding a recruitment march (b) cheque dated 5th June 1918 from the National Provicial bank of England, Southampton (c) 1914 money order request which appears to have been cleared after th war (1921?) - on the rear has a 1914 German stamp and 'a/c clearing office (enemy debts)' (d) Russian and England Bank letter dated April 1916 to person in Milford on Sea, Hants re: fixed deposit reciept (e) Order of the Sons of Temperance Concert Programme dated March 1915 St Georges Hall, Westminster Bridge Road (f) Letter from the National War Savings Committee dated June 1916 re: Income tax (g) Gamages Military Store advert - on rear Burberry's Winter Topcoats advert (h) a/c from the Louvre, Paris dated june 1916 (i) small photo of boy - 'souvenir of the Great War 1914 1918' (j) Invitation to dancing to a Lady Mary Leith from a Capt. Saudbach (k) National Registration Act 1915 card to a French Teacher, Birmingham (l) On Active Service envelope with field censor sent to a Mrs Bibby, London date stamped July 1917 (m) envelope from Brunner Mond & Co. limited sent to Bournemouth August 1915 from China? with Chinese stamp to rear and wax seal (n) Alliance Assurance
