COLORSOUND WAH WAH GUTS. The guts from a Colorsound inductorless wah wah pedal. Complete working guts from the pedal, circuit board, Carling footswitch, battery snap and in/out jacks and pot all wired up. Taken from a casing that I subsequently used for a vibrato pedal. This one came to me as wrecker, the casing was rusty, scratched and painted black all over with no labelling. The circuit board says 'made in Korea'. The circuit is the single transistor one as used in the Colorsound inductorless wah, Colorsound sold/licenced these circuits under several different brand names over the years, Eurotec, Frontline etc. I have several of these in different shape casings and brands, its the same circuit give or take the type of caps most times. Looking at the parts this is most likley an 80's one, having polystyrene caps. A quick test showed the circuit to work but the pot may need replacing as it seems to move very freeley, I don't know if thats normal for these cam operated pots or if its just worn? A normal 100K linear pot will suffice as a replacement if needed, depends on how you need to actuate it if rehousing in a treadle, or you could make a stuck wah out of it. Sold as seen, no returns.
