This Comicology #2, published November 1968, published and edited by Doug Fratz (Accident, MD), assistant editor Rodney Glotfelty, 47 pages, 8-1/2x11", mimeo, offset and ditto, very good condition except for some significant flaws (see below). Print run 400. Very rare early issue of this comics fanzine considered one of the best of the more fannish comics fanzines of the late 1960s and early 1970s. The contents of this issue include: Artwork (including the collage cover) by Vaughn Bode, Jim Shooter, Bob Cardozo, Jack Gaughan, Wayne Boglitsch, Collin Lau, Don Dagenais, Dave Cockrum, Jim Shull, Bill Wilson, Gary Robinson, G. Rafferty, David Held, Mike Roberts, Paul LaGrazee, Rick Seward, Martin Greim, Gavin Roth, Alan Hanley and Doug Fratz Articles and other written material by Steve Gillespie, Steven Carlberg, Tony Isabella, Mark Evanier, Robert Gluckson, Rick Howe, Doug Fratz, Louis Morra, Jim Shull, Mitchell Schields and Richard Adams. This is one of the original 400. It was mailed to Anthony Kowalik (name and address on the back cover)The cover also has some edge wear on upper right. This copy is complete and readable--or at least as readable as the original print run (His mimeography skills were still developing -- he was 15 years old at the time).
