Comptometer SuperTotalizer Mechanical Calculator

Comptometer SuperTotalizer Super Totalizer

Probably built in the 1930s. This was one of the most advanced Comptometers ever built, and only 4 or 5 are known still to be around. This may well be the only one surviving with 12 columns (13 columns in the results registers). The SuperTotalizer has an additional register set nearest to the operator.

Sorry to say that one keytop is missing. The machine used to work, but now seems to have locked, and I haven’t got the time to sort it out. Overall, it is in very good condition. We’re moving house and downsizing, and hence the sale of several items from my collection.

/~vagabond/Models.html is a wonderful website for anything about Comptometers. Learn about them from there rather than from me – he knows far more about them! This one has the same problem with the deterioration of the light coloured keytops as he describes.

Collection preferred, as it weighs in at 14 kg. Courier would work. It will require quite some packing. Contact me about this.

Payment by Paypal or cash on collection (preferred).

Welcome to come and inspect before the end of the auction. We are 2m from Junction 17 of the M4.
