COPPER JELLY MOLD- GRAPE CLUSTER

A hard to find Copper mold of a cluster of grapes with a tinned lining. These were for jellied dishes dishes for the table as sweets or piquant savories(a word often seen in mention of old cookery). It has beautiful detailing and a nice patina. There is minor wear on the copper that you can see in the images and very minor denting. Note the unusual design on the sides. There is a small hole on the end with a wire for hanging. Ca. Mid 1800s. It measures 3 3/4 inches x 5 1/2 inches, 3 1/2 inches H. This is the 2nd group of choice items from the 30 year old collection of retired antique dealers who currently live on Hilton Head Island, SC. from St. Louis MO.
