You are bidding on a NEW AND NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED Corgi Curtis P-40E Warhawk - 11th FS/343rd FG, Aleutian Islands 1943 flown by the famous Aleutian Tigers.

The landing gear and gear doors on each model are constructed as complete subassemblies for quick installation. The model features a center mounted fuel tank and a delicate photo-etched metal target sight in front of the canopy. The E variant includes a carburetor scoop on top of the engine cowling and pairs of exhaust nozzles on either side. The model can be displayed with the wheels down or with the wheels up, in flight, on the included stand.

This model is in MINT condition and the box also is in MINT just as it left the FACTORY.

This model is a LIMITED EDITION and is number 49 out of only 1780 peices distributed WORLD WIDE .

A CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY is included with the model.

The P-40's legacy will always be as the aircraft flown by Claire Lee Chennault's American Volunteer Group (A.V.G or also known as the Flying Tigers). 100 P-40s (considered obsolete) were given to the Chinese through the Lend�lease in 1941.
