This auction is for an ambrotype photo of a handsome Confederate soldier. The frame measures 2-7/8" by 2-3/8". I do not have the soldiers name - I wish I did. I purchased this last month on eBay as part of a 3 item package (see last photo - ambrotype photo, dagger, and 1864 confederate parade flag) from an estate sale in Virginia. I only wanted the flag for a family displace case, so I am selling off the dagger and the soldier's photo (please see my other auctions if your interested in the dagger - I will combine shipping). Please note that this auction is only for the photo, not the dagger or the flag. Perhaps someone else out there can shed light on his uniform. The frame shows wear and tear but is secure. This is a wonderful piece of Civil War history that I am sure you will enjoy. I will offer a 7-day return period, minus shiping cost. If you
