This is a SPECIAL set of TEN U.S. Federal Reserve $1.00 Notes of 1963-B . A bonus for any small note collection, especially if you are trying to get one of each of the many Federal Reserve $1 notes. This group represents at least one of each of 4 issuing Federal Reserve Banks that issued this short term note. Only the San Francisco note is missing. They show signs of light circulation. There are no missing pieces, stains, tears or holes. With excellent color, they are clean, crisp with sharp edges and corners. All the notes are in VERY FINE to EXTRA FINE condition. They are all lightly circulated with some folds and faint wrinkles. They are a very nice looking set of circulated notes. You can enlarge the photos for a closer look.

Issued in the final month of President Lyndon Johnson's administration in January 1969, this SPECIAL set of notes represents the turbulant time of the Viet Nam War. LBJ declared he would not run for office again, Richard Nixon was President Elect and LBJ's Secretary of the Treasury quit. This left a short term vacancy that Joseph W Barr filled for 4 weeks.
